The BN-202 molded foam tip cleanroom swab features a pure polyurethane foam head that is fully molded (not cut) to eliminate loose particles from raw foam edges. Unlike die‑cut foam swabs, the molded construction creates a smooth, sealed outer skin on all sides of the tip, drastically reducing particle generation during cleaning. The swab head is thermally fused to a black ESD‑safe polypropylene handle (surface resistivity 10⁶ – 10⁹ Ω/sq), providing static dissipation for sensitive electronic components.
The BN-202 is manufactured in a Class 10 (ISO 4) environment, then cleaned with DI water and IPA to achieve ultra‑low residue levels. The foam formulation is closed‑cell on the exterior but retains an internal micro‑porous structure for controlled liquid release.
