Precise finger protection
Finger cots allow operators to keep other fingers bare for handling tools or touchscreens while protecting the working finger (usually index or thumb). This is more economical than wearing full gloves when only one or two fingers contact sensitive surfaces.

Low particle and ion generation
Cleanroom grade finger cots are washed and packaged to minimize contamination. Typical particle shedding (for quality nitrile finger cots):
