Step 1 Select the appropriate cloth size and pole length for your task.
Step 2 Attach the cloth to the pole using the hook and loop or clamp system.
Step 3 If wet cleaning moisten the cloth with DI water IPA or cleanroom detergent. Do not oversaturate.
Step 4 Wipe the target surface using straight overlapping strokes. Do not use circular motion.
Step 5 After use remove the cloth and launder according to instructions. Wipe the pole with IPA and a cleanroom wipe.
For ESD critical areas connect a ground cord from the pole to a verified ground point or ensure the operator is properly grounded.
