Replacement ESD ground cord with built-in 1 MΩ resistor. Coiled (1.8m to 3m) or straight (1.8m). 4mm snap, stainless clip. Flex life tested to 15,000 cycles.
We are committed to delivering five‑star service across every product we offer — from responsive support to reliable delivery and beyond. Your satisfaction is our benchmark.

This replacement ground cord is designed for ESD wrist straps with a detachable 4mm snap. It includes the required 1 MΩ current‑limiting resistor and a stainless steel alligator clip. When your original cord fails from daily flexing, replace the cord – not the entire wrist strap.
Available in two types:
Coiled cord – stretches from 1.8m to 3m (6–10 ft), tangle‑resistant
Straight cord – 1.8m (6 ft), lighter, longer flex life
Both versions use the same 4mm snap and clip, and both contain the 1 MΩ resistor.
| Parameter | Coiled version | Straight version |
|---|---|---|
| Part number | ESD‑CORD‑COIL‑6FT | ESD‑CORD‑STRAIGHT‑6FT |
| Cord length (relaxed) | 1.8 m (6 ft) | 1.8 m (6 ft) |
| Stretched length (max) | 3.0 m (10 ft) | N/A (non‑stretch) |
| Cord jacket material | Polyurethane (PUR) | PVC |
| Snap type | 4 mm nickel‑plated brass | 4 mm nickel‑plated brass |
| Clip type | Stainless steel alligator with teeth | Stainless steel alligator with teeth |
| Integrated resistor | 1 MΩ, ±5% | 1 MΩ, ±5% |
| System resistance (snap to clip) | 0.95 – 1.05 MΩ typical | 0.95 – 1.05 MΩ typical |
| Flex life (at snap) | >15,000 cycles (tested) | >25,000 cycles (tested) |
| Operating temperature | 0 – 50°C | 0 – 50°C |
| RoHS compliant | Yes | Yes |
| Cleanroom compatible | Yes (low shedding) | Yes (PVC acceptable for ISO 7+) |

We tested both cord types to failure (open circuit). Test method: 90° bend at the snap connection, 1 cycle per second.
| Cycles | Coiled cord (resistance) | Straight cord (resistance) |
|---|---|---|
| 0 (new) | 0.98 MΩ | 1.01 MΩ |
| 5,000 | 1.00 MΩ | 1.00 MΩ |
| 10,000 | 1.03 MΩ | 1.01 MΩ |
| 15,000 | 1.09 MΩ (pass) | 1.02 MΩ |
| 20,000 | Open circuit (fail) | 1.03 MΩ |
| 30,000 | – | 1.08 MΩ (pass) |
| 35,000 | – | Open circuit (fail) |
Conclusion: Straight cord lasts approximately twice as long as coiled cord in flex life. Choose straight for workstations where the cord is plugged in and left; choose coiled for operators who move around and need stretch.
Our clients from semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical device, and aerospace industries trust our cleanroom wipers for consistent performance, high absorption, and low particle generation. Here’s what they have to say.

We have broken down the core products and actual test data into a clear, at-a-glance comparison table across six industries (semiconductor wafers, OLED panels, precision optics, biopharmaceuticals, automotive electronics, and new energy batteries). The table includes the wiper or cleanroom consumable model for each industry, key physical parameters (particle shedding, water absorbency, ionic residues, etc.), and applicable compliance standards (SEMI, GMP, IATF 16949, ISO 10993, etc.)
